ICSE Preparation tips

Plan your studies- check out the time table for the exam and allocate time for each subject. Choose the best time for your learning. However, effective learning is done between 4-6 in the morning or late in the night.

Complete the syllabus in advance- Try to complete the syllabus 2-3 months before the exam. The only part left should be your revision. These 2-3 months should only be spent on doing sample papers and revision through notes. If you complete your preparation in advance, you will be more stress-free to appear in your exam.

to create notes while studying- Write down your notes properly in sequential order and remember the correct sequence to avoid confusion. Always write the main points of your textbook in the notes. This is a good practice, and you will be able to revise it during exam time.

Allocate time for every subject- Allocating time as per subject is very important, so divide your time as per the subject's complexity. First, try to complete your weak subjects and then go for the strong subjects later. Once you are done with all of your weak subjects, you will be more confident in appearing for your exams.

the exam pattern- knowing the exam pattern and practice according to that exam pattern will help you with time management and understand how and from which topic we can easily fetch marks.

Focus on Concepts- Creating a foundation is the main thing in your studies. So if you are practicing maths or learning any theory, try to concentrate on the concept behind it. No topic is useless once you know the concept behind it.

previous year's question papers-Previous year's question papers help you revise your entire syllabus and understand the types of questions asked in the exam. Practice one paper daily to know which question is easy to attend and which kind of question can take more time.

on ICSE Solutions- Learning through solutions is very important. You can easily download the learning solution from our website to help you. It is also available on the official website of ICSE. From there, you can download the solution for studies. Try not to refer to so many books. The ICSE solution will suffice to get good marks in the exam. If you are done with the ICSE solutions and want to practice more questions, you can definitely take the reference book's help.

Attend classes regularly-Try to attend classes regularly and make notes at the same time. Write or underline only key points so that you will know what exactly you need to focus on.
