CBSE 10th, 12th Term-2 Practical Exams 2022 Schedule

The term 2 practical exams of classes 10 and 12 will commence from March 2, and should end 10 days ahead of the theory examinations starting from April 26. All schools need to conduct the practical exams following the Covid-19 protocols.

Schools will conduct internal exam for Class 10th and external examiners shall assess practical exams of Class 12th. Schools need to upload marks of practical exams on the same day they were held. The uploading of marks should be completed by the last date of academic session of a class.

For candidates of academic session 2019-20 and before, marks prescribed for practical exams/ project/ internal assessments shall be computed on pro-rata basis, based on the marks obtained in theory examinations.

CBSE had earlier decided to conduct board exams for the academic session 2021 – 2022 in two terms – Term I and II. This was decided due to the unpredictable situation arising out from the covid-19 pandemic. CBSE has already successfully conducted Term I exams.

After discussions with various stakeholders, CBSE has now decided to conduct Term II board examinations for classes X and XII in offline mode. As per the notification issued by CBSE, the term II exams will start from 26th April 2022. The format of the question papers will be the same as that of the sample question papers hosted on the board’s website. The students will attend the exams in the allotted examination centers.

CBSE will soon release the examination dates for classes X and XII. The dates of exams will be made available on the board’s website www.cbse.nic.in.
