1. Eligible candidates are issued online admit cards almost three weeks before the exam begins.

8. The candidate should take proper care while uploading the photograph. The picture should be duly scanned in JPG format and the file size should not exceed 300 KB and it should not be less than 20 KB. If an incorrect photo/signature is uploaded, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled for false identity.
9. E-Admit card should be checked carefully. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate may immediately approach UPSC commission.
10. Avoid carrying any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band and valuable and expensive items to the examination centre. The commission will not bear any loss in this regard.
11. Look at the exam date sheet carefully. Make sure you know the exact date and time and the location of your exams.
12. The examination venue will be closed 10 minutes before the commencement of examination. If the exam starts at 10:00 A.M., the examination venue will close at 9:50 A.M.

UPSC CSE is one of the most difficult exams conducted every year for the recruitment of IAS, IPS, IFS and other officers in Indian Civil Services.
