The unitary method is a technique for solving a problem by first finding the value of a single unit, and then finding the necessary value by multiplying the single unit value. In essence, this method is used to find the value of a unit from the value of a multiple, and hence the value of a multiple. The unitary method can be used to solve problems related to distance, time speed, and calculating the cost of materials. The unitary method is used for various applications. For example, if a car runs 44 km on 2 liters of petrol then we can use the unitary method to find out the kilometers it will cover on 1 liters of petrol. In other words, the method by which we find out the value of one unit and further use it to find the value of multiple units is known as the unitary method.
