Concise Selina Solutions for Class 9 maths Chapter 27 Graphical Solution

The graphical solution is the solution obtained from the intersecting point of the lines. To solve systems of equations or simultaneous equations by the graphical method, we draw the graph for each of the equation and look for a point of intersection between the two graphs. The coordinates of the point of intersection would be the solution to the system of equations.

Graphs are powerful data evaluation tools. These graphs can provide information about concentration ranges, shapes of distributions, extreme values (outliers), relationships between different data sets, and trends (increasing, decreasing, and cyclic). Today, researchers use many graphical means such as histograms, box plots, and scatterplots to understand their data better. Graphs are effective for displaying and summarizing large amounts of numerical data and are useful for showing trends, patterns, and relationships between variables.
