NCERT Solutions for Class 8 maths Chapter 3 Understanding Quadrilaterals


A simple closed figure bounded by four line segments is called a quadrilateral, it has four sides, i.e., AB, BC, CD and AD and four vertices as A, B, C and D and the sum of all angles of a quadrilateral is 360°. A lot of quadrilaterals are used in our daily life. Many of the things we see in our everyday life are resembling the regular mathematical shapes like circle, quadrilateral, triangle, Parallelogram, Rhombus, Square and Rectangle etc. Some amount of fillet or chamfer is given to those mathematical shapes, and the products are manufactured.
