NCERT Solutions for Class 11 Physics Chapter 3 Motion in a Straight Line

Linear motion (also called rectilinear motion) is a one-dimensional motion along a straight line, and can therefore be described mathematically using only one spatial dimension. If an object changes its position with respect to its surroundings with time, then it is called in motion. If an object does not change its position with respect to its surroundings with time, then it is called at rest. This chapter will be covering simple but essential topics such as comparing the objects as a point object. We will be plotting graphs and determine values according to it. We will be providing the explanation for the difference between the total length of the path covered by a particle and magnitude of displacement in the same interval of time and also we will find out the difference between average velocity and average speed in the same time interval.
